Bill Stolpin’s Nature prints
This page contains thumbnails of screenprints, and etchings that Bill considers to be his Natural Art.
While Bill was growing up he spent his weekends “at the cabin”, visiting his grandparents log cabin in the middle of the National Forest in the northern part of Michigan’s Lower Peninsula. A number of his LANDSCAPES prints are based on these experiences. Bill has traveled extensively throughout the world including Russia, China, Spain, Germany, Ireland and the United Kingdom. These travels gave Bill first hand impressions and numerous photographic references to use in his Nature prints. One of these prints, “Near Newgrange”(from Ireland), was awarded a second prize in the 2007 Festival of the Masters competition at Walt Disney World.
Many of his prints are based on other subjects in Nature. “Looking West” , for example, is based on a unique sunset he saw out the front window of his house, while another print “Trilobite Two” stems from his overall interest in fossils and paleontology.
Clicking on any of the thumbnails will take you directly to the specific information about that particular print.
