I took second place in my category “Drawing, Printmaking and Graphics” at the Festival of the Masters in Disney World last November with my piece "Near Newgrange". Although I was automatically juried into the 2008 Festival of the Masters show, I elected to stay here and work in the studio. As a result, I’ve finished up four screenprints (including a commission for the Community Foundation of Greater Flint), a B/W woodcut and a three-color linoleum cut. Those screenprints are: |
“20th Anniversary – Community Foundation of Greater Flint” - A tribute to the PIPER family, and their widespread contributions to the Flint community. The edition of twenty went completely to the Community Foundation of Greater Flint. Prints were framed and presented to members of the PIPER family. One print was maintained by the Foundation, and one was presented to the Flint Institute of Arts for their permanent collection. |
“Remains” – A small two color print made for an Oregon postcard exchange. A/P’s of this print are available, unframed, for $50. |
“The Source” – A fun print reflecting an oil rig pump, sitting on the surface of the ground, with the skeleton of a dinosaur beneath the surface. Prints from this edition of 15 are available, unframed for $150. |
I've also finished up a new woodcut. The woodcut, “Oilrex”, also plays with the similarity between a T-Rex skeleton and the basic structure of the pump for an oil well. Here I have superimposed the two, letting the viewer separate which is which. Unframed prints from this edition of 19 are available for $75. |
“The Moon” – The next print in my Tarot Card series. This is also my most recent print, having been completed on August first of this year. Unframed prints from this edition of 16 are available for $150. |
The Linocut, “The Eye” was done as a demonstration for my Printmaking class at the Flint Institute of Arts. Unframed prints from this 15 edition print, three-color edition, are available for $75. |

| I have completed six new dragon portraits. Single sheet copies of each are available for $17 (color version) or $12 (black and white version). They are also available mounted on mat board with a foamcor backing for $20 (color) and $15 (black and white). You can see all of the currently available dragons here. |
| My 2008 dragon poster has turned out to be a hit. Click here to see the full set of all 17 posters. The posters from previous years are still available. I have separated them into three packs of 5 years per pack: ’92-’96, ’97-’01 & ’02-’06. The large 5-poster set is $50 while the small set is $45. Individual posters are always available from my website for $10 or $12 plus postage. | |
The 18” x 26” reproductions of my images have proved to be very popular at this years Michigan Renaissance Festival as well as at GENCON 2008 in Indianapolis Indiana. We are in the process of making these larger images available on my website pages. If the large version of the image you want isn’t yet shown on the website, please e-mail me with a description of the image and we can get it to you directly. They run $35, and will require $7 for shipping and handling. |
In addition to my regular images, my dragon portraits, my dragon posters, the card sets, the sticky-back bookplates, and the 18” x 26” reproductions, we are now offering a coloring book with 20 Black and White dragon portrait line drawings ($10), and various sized ceramic tiles with any of my images on them. We are working on adding them to the website. Please keep checking! |
